Finding Your Commercial Vehicle at Monaco Ford

You own your own business and you’re hardworking and reliable. You want a vehicle that can say the same things.

At Monaco Ford, we have a number of commercial vehicles that can help you get the job done.

One such vehicle is the Transit Connect.

The Transit Connect is engineered and purpose-built with one goal in mind – helping you stay productive. All Transit Connect models will offer a class-leading maximum payload of 1,710 pounds and best-in-class towing capacity of 2,000 pounds when properly equipped.

You can choose from van or wagon models in long- and short-wheelbase configurations with a wide range of upfit options.

To make loading and unloading cargo easier, dual sliding side doors are standard. And to help you stay in control of your fleet, available Crew Chief, powered by Telogis, provides real-time alerts on a wide range of driver and vehicle metrics.

The Transit Connect knows how to work hard, which allows you to work smart.

The Ford Transit is a major transformation of the full-size van you’ve been accustomed to driving. Configure a Transit cargo van or passenger wagon with the combination of box length and height for the cargo volume/payload or passenger capacity you need.

The all-new 2015 Ford Transit is engineered to ultra-stringent Ford commercial truck standards for durability – and built to exceed what you’ve come to expect from the leader in full-size vans.

Accommodating up to 15 passengers and providing ample cargo space for their luggage or gear, the E-Series Wagon is up to the task. No wonder the E-Series Wagon has been America’s favorite full-size van for 34 years running.

We also have an Econoline Cargo Van on hand for all of your commercial needs.

Ford E-Series Cutaway Vans deliver the capability you need for your business application or recreational activity. Properly equipped, the E-350 and E-450 can tow up to 10,000 lbs. With innovative technologies - the available integrated trailer brake controller, for example - you’ll not only have one hardworking van, but one that works smart too.

And don’t forget, you can always use our Ford trucks – the F-150 and the Super Duty trucks – for commercial purposes.

The F-150 can haul more cargo (maximum 3,120 pounds) than any of its competitors and has huge Class V trailer towing capability (maximum 11,300 pounds).

With a rugged fully boxed frame as the foundation of its Built Ford Tough engineering, the F-150 is tested under the harshest real-world conditions to deliver the capability you expect, day in and day out.

The Ford Super Duty offers a standard 6.2L V8 with best-in-class gas horsepower and torque. And for applications calling for the unique severe-duty strength and dependability of a diesel, the next generation of the Power Stroke Turbo Diesel V8 for 2015 delivers higher performance ratings than ever.

I know we don’t want to think about it, but winter is coming. Our trucks can be used with plows to make sure that your streets, parking lots, and driveways stay clean and clear this winter.

Don’t forget, we service all of these commercial vehicles with the same kind of care that we use when servicing your personal vehicles.

Help Glastonbury High School Win the "Celebrate My Drive" Contest

Recently, we filmed some “Be the Key” teen safe driving videos with the students at Glastonbury High School.

While we had a lot of fun with it, it was also a very serious time, dealing with a serious issue. Teen driving safety is huge for us and as a community, Glastonbury has been touched personally by a tragedy involving a teen driver.

We don’t want anyone to have to go through that heartbreak again.

The group that we worked with is now taking part in State Farm’s “Celebrate My Drive” contest to win a $100,000 grant for Glastonbury High School. The grant would go towards safe driving and other initiatives.

Here’s how you can help out.

It is estimated that Glastonbury needs 500,000 votes to win. The good news is, anyone with an e-mail address can vote every day for the 10 day contest period (running from Oct. 15 to Oct. 24).

To vote, visit www.celebratemydrive.com.

You can help out by liking the Vote GHS Facebook page and spreading the word, and also by coming out to the kick-off event on Oct. 11 from 3 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. There will be local bands and the event will be emceed by Joe Furey.

What exactly is Celebrate My Drive?

It’s communities celebrating new drivers who make smart driving choices, like 2N2 – 2 eyes on the road, 2 hands on the wheel. And not to mention, maybe winning some great prizes for the school.

Let’s do what we can to get Glastonbury High School the top prize!
