More Fusions on display...in the rain
So most of you probably don't exactly know who Alan Mulally is but I do and to me, he is pretty great. Alan Mulally is the CEO & President of Ford Motor Company and essentially the main reason why Ford did not take the bailout money when given the opportunity to do so. I got to witness one of the best days of someones life in Times Square last week. The woman and her husband were visiting NYC from Canada and she happened to be picked off the street along with about 75 other people to participate in a contest and promotion for the all new 2013 Ford Fusion. Her number happened to be the lucky one and she was escorted on stage to join Ryan Seacrest (he's cute) and Alan Mulally and the keys to her brand new car. She couldn't speak and was in complete shock and to be honest I got a good laugh about the whole thing because of her awkward behavior on stage. I mean when someone puts a microphone to your mouth and asks you your name in front of thousands of people roaming the streets of NYC and you literally can't form a word...it's definitely going to get a laugh out of most people. I do give her credit for not fainting though because it sure seemed like she was headed in that direction. Anyways, just wanted to give the good people of Ford Motor Company a quick shoutout for all the amazing things they've done over the last few years, including this one.
